Nashville Locksmith can cut some keys by the vehicles vin number. This service usually isn't practicle for a couple of reasons. We purchase the key codes from dealerships. Often times it is cheaper and easier for one of our locksmiths to come to the location of the vehicle and make a key by hand. If the car is really far outside of Nashville sometimes this is acceptable. However most of the time keys by the vin is still not a great idea as the car still needs to be programmed.

What do i need to get a key by the VIN number

In order for us to provide you with a key by the VIN number we will have to have the drivers license of the person requesting the key. You will also have to provide us with your tag number and the title to the vehicle with the matching name on the title.
